The book's cover is very adept in showcasing the themes of the book, as the fingers-crossed with the eye subtly bring to mind mysticism and magic.
The prologue really introduced the darker parts of the story and made the school seem like a cross between Hogwarts and a normal high school, complete with linoleum tiles in the hallways.
I'm really interested to see where this story goes as the mystery is already set and I am already hooked!
