Ivy Gamble is not having a great day. It starts wit ha mugging and then a job offer she can't refuse at the school where her estranged twin is a teacher. It's a school for mages. Ivy's twin, Tabitha, has magic. Ivy doesn't have magic. But it's a lot of money to solve a murder- at least the headmistress thinks it's a murder. However, apparently the magic police did not think it was a murder. Does this all sound intriguing? I thought so too. I'm looking forward to reading what happens next. I enjoyed Ivy's voice as she narrated the events. My curiosity is piqued and I'm excited to keep reading.
