From the premise of the book, this isn't something I would normally pick up. BUT, I'm new to Bookish First and thought it would be fun to try all of the first impressions for this week!
I was really pleasantly surprised by the first scene. And if the story had continued in that vein, it would probably be something I'd pick up. The rest, though, just wasn't my style. Great for someone, but probably not for me.
