Thus far, I am extremely into the premise - it's a whodunit, but in magic high school, but conducted by a non-magic middle aged PI with a lot of baggage and resentment. I'm personally of an age now where high school seems eons ago, but I'd bet that this book will bring me right back. I can already sense that this one will have a lot of mysterious twists & turns as Ivy figures out the new "rules of engagement" in this magic world.
Also, I initially picked the book because of the cover. I love the colors - it's so catching!
