Can I just say wow?
The entire time I was reading this excerpt for Magic for Liars, I just kept thinking, "wow."
This book is something totally different but then something also so very similar. I mean we've all read books with magic, books with sisters; one magical, one who's not, etc.. but something just feels new and exciting about this book.
The main character, Ivy. It's so easy to connect with her. She's the non-magical, "failure" sister. She feels like she could never compare to her perfect, magical twin sister, Tabitha. That's such an easy narrative to connect with for me. I have that older, perfect sister so Ivy is me, I'm Ivy, (except of course without magic in either of us).
I have a feeling things will take a turn for Ivy that she never seen coming though. Unexpected, magical things. And I seriously cannot wait to find out what happens.
I am excited for this book. I very much look forward to reading the entire thing.
