Love the cover, even though it gave off love triangle vibe. This book is a sci-fi retelling of Bonnie and Clyde. It is told by multiple viewpoints by Shane, Ava, and Cyrus's. I do love multi-view but I wish for the names on each chapter to know who it is, otherwise I am playing a guessing game.

I love the dynamic between Shane and Ava and how their romance expands through the storyline. It was fun to read them as they argue and care for each other. Definitely mirrors real-life history. Cyrus's viewpoint shown how the officials deal with the crimes, not knowing who to trust. I do wish there was more on Cyrus and Lark, but of course they are not the main couple.

Sadly enough, there wasn't a happy ending. This is the second time I have read a non-happy ending, but the first that will not have a sequel. The ending of Made of Stars feel final. It was a nice read.
