Made of Stars is billed as a Bonnie and Clyde space opera and for once, the blurb is correct. The characters in Made of Stars have a ride or die type feeling for each other. And of course, it takes place in space! Fun! The book gave off a love triangle vibe and was very much a fun read. I am sucker for space books. The Illumine series being a big one and this story had a little bit of that type of action going on. As far as Young Adult books go this one hit a lot of the marks I look for in a book to add to my tbr pile.
The action was pretty fast paced and the love story arc was good without over doing it, if you know what I mean. This is set up as a sand alone book so it is perfect for someone looking for a quick fun read without having to get to invested into a long drawn out series storyline.
As with all bookish first picks this one was great and I have no complaints with it!
