This was a great read for the author’s debut novel!
It was action packed, filled with romantic tension (no spice, though) and the perfect balance of camaraderie and betrayal. Definitely enjoyed the Bonnie and Clyde element and I thought the characters of Ava and Shane portrayed that perfectly.
The multiple POVs was well done and normally I’m not a huge fan of that style unless it’s executed perfectly. I thought the author did a great job of this while still maintaining the character development and plot.
I thought the ending was a little lackluster to me and didn’t do the novel justice. That is probably just a personal opinion though, because I could see how other people could be satisfied with how it ended.
I must say though, I hope the author considers a redo of the cover, because I definitely would not have bought as a cover buy.
