I am so glad I decided to give this book a chance! Described as being inspired by the story of Bonnie and Clyde, this is a action-filled romp through different planets with a couple who steal from others in order to help their families who live rather desperate lives in a place where the residents have little money and are faced with environmental issues that lead to poor health. .
The main characters, Shane and Ava, are very attracted to each other, and the author, Jenna Voris, does such a good job of describing them even though what they do is wrong from a moral point of view, you really want them to come out of this okay.
As if that isn't intriguing enough, Voris throws Cyrus into the mix, a recent graduate from Flight Academy who has an impressive career lined up reporting to a well respected general. He is in hot pursuit of them after Ava tricks Cyrus, and then Shane and Ava fly off with a stolen aircraft.
The plot is original and fresh with characters who are very interesting.
