I feel like this would be a wonderful book for teens who love all things to do with space. The stage is set for a great adventure with the four lead characters. The quartet team up to stand up against leaders who are doing things against thier morals and it leads them on quite an adventure with a bit of self discovery involved. I feel this would be good for teens as thier isn't anything terribly gory or romantic.
I did like Ava's character. She showed lots of courage and she helped free Shane from prison. She is tough and cunning and willing to do what needs to be done for her commrads. Shane however was a little hard to love. I understand that he was wrongly incriminated and that he is fighting against and unjust diplomat, but I would have preferred if he hadn't become a cold blooded killer. Lark is also a little hard to love at first, but as you realize he isn't as shallow as he appears it gets better. Cyrus was probably my favorite character as he stood up for his beliefs and what was right, but tried to do it in the best way he could.
