4/5 stars! The cover of this book is what originally drew me in. This is a YA science fiction story with outlaws, ship stealing, and lots of hijinks. Fans of Hans Solo-esqe characters will love jumping into this story. Shane and Ava are a great duo and I found myself rooting for them throughout the book. Cyrus was a more complex character. I couldn't quite figure out if he's a villain or a hero in the making until later in the story. By the end of the book, you are wound up and cheering for the underdogs against intergalactic enemies. Although things are nicely wrapped up by the final page, I would love to read another book in this same universe. It checks all the boxes for YA sci-fi. Will definitely book looking for more stories by this author to add to my reading list. It's hard to get a science-fiction story right these days and Jenna managed to do that flawlessly.
