I was very excited to read this one. A young adult bonnie and Clyde sci-fi retelling sounded super amazing. I did really enjoy the sci-fi aspects, the queer representation, and some of the romance. It was a bit confusing at first with the points of views and figuring out what characters were where, but once their lives started colliding things got interesting. I felt really upset by the ending which I should've expected, but I still wish it could have ended differently. I was happy to see where Cyrus' character development ended up at the end of the story but he frustrated me a lot at first too. I liked a lot of the side characters and wished to know more about them. It would be interested if they got a spinoff and we got a book two or made this a series. The world building was very interesting to me and this did leave off with some questions unanswered.
