I enjoyed Made of Stars and the sci-fi, space world we’re brought into here. The books starts off strong with one of our main characters, AvA. breaking another, Shane, out of jail. The action is there from the beginning and doesn’t slow down much. The POV switches were interesting as we get to see different characters and their perception of things. Specifically, Cyrus, who is in a completely different position than Ava and Shane as he’s just graduated from a government academy and is assigned his first job. He collides with Ava and Shane on his first mission and from there things are a nonstop ride!

I love the heist aspect of things and the themes of fighting for what’s right and struggling to stand up for what you believe in. The book was fast paced but it never felt too rushed.

Overall, I’d give this 3.5 stars. It’s a good YA read for someone who enjoys sci-fi/space settings and heist plots!
