This just wasn't what I was hoping it would be. I like that the beginning was dramatic and dark with a prison break right at the getgo, but it just felt kinda forced to me. It wasn't something I wanted to continue reading. I think it will appeal to fans of YA sci-fi/dark fantasy, but this one just wasn't convincing me to read more. It just felt like too much for me. The cover art is really pretty.
