I appreciate that the synopsis includes a reference to Bonnie and Clyde, and that there was a Bonnie and Clyde quote to start the book, because I would never have put them together with the story I was reading. My understanding was that Bonnie and Clyde were a romantic couple, while Shane and Ava seem to be platonic at best.
