sci-fi that does not intimidate
I am always intimidated by the sci-fi genre or any novel with an out-of-this-world setting such as space. Books such as these tend to include academic diction and space-lingo that I do not always understand. However, as I was reading the sample of Made of Stars, I noticed that it steered away from these preconceived ideas in my head. It is definitely a sci-fi novel that reads as more accessible fiction, and for that reason, and its intriguing synopsis, I do feel I would enjoy such a novel.
