I am not a heist story reader generally, so this did not appeal to me. I could see with the writing and it being a heist story it could do really well. The hijinks (the backbone of the heist) was not catching my attention and making me excited.
I like that the story starts off with the action which is good especially for this type of story.
Cover: I do not know if the cover screams science fiction/heist (although the colors do give a bit of sci-fi). It does scream young adult fiction though.
