I was roped into the story by the prison break. Ava and Shane are so tough, and traveling back to their home planet was an effective way to explain their goals and show their smarts. I like how the domed cities and West Rama are presented, they live in stark contrast with each other, which adds to the conflict we're gonna get with Opia later I assume.
I like Cyrus's introduction too. I wonder if he'll be able to sympathize with the duo down the road cuz of his background or double down on his space duties.
The cover is fine but it doesn't do anything for me because it's just three people staring at me, I got a better feel for the story from the synopsis and I don't think the cover delivers on that.
