Jade is setting sale for a semester on Campus on Board. She'll be visiting 11 countries in 4 months, but most importantly, she'll be heading away from her ex-boyfriend who left her for her now ex-best friend. Everything is going swell until Jade realizes that the backstabbing couple is also onboard the ship too. As Jade imagines killing her ex-best friend for her betrayal, her fantasies come true. Jade's friends continue to be murdered one by one. Jade and her crush must work together to find the killer before they all become victims.

Lying In the Deep is a YA thriller/murder mystery. This is an exciting, fast read that will keep you guessing until the very end. The beginning of the book is spent on a lot of character development and the romance between Jade and Felix. This made this book a slow burn thriller, but it also added more background to the story that I enjoyed. I thought Jade and Felix had great chemistry and made a great team going as they were going around trying to figure out who was murdering the other students on the boat. There were a few twists at the end that were unexpected, and I definitely did not see coming. For a YA thriller, this definitely held my attention and was quite an enjoyable read. I devoured this book in one day.
