Lying in the Deep is my first Diana Urban book, but it certainly won't be my last. This is a YA thriller, but I think that is just because the characters are young, but as a 30 something I really enjoyed it! I started and finished this book in a day while on vacation because I couldn't put it down.
Typically I try to guess where the story is going to go, but I just let this book take me on a wild ride. There were some twists and turns that are typical in a thriller, but that ending I did not expect at all! I didn't find myself rooting for any of the characters, but that didn't take away from how I felt about the storyline or how things played out.
I would recommend this book to anyone that enjoys a good whodunit and are looking for a thriller they want to get lost in and is a quick read.
