Lying in the Deep was an excellent read. I am so happy that I got it before the release date! I have to say it was a whirlwind of emotions as I got hooked on the main character, Jade, and what apparently happened with her “ex” best friend Lainey. I felt all the emotions jade felt, and I would feel the same way. Of course, murder is not justifiable but I couldn't help noting that it was under my nose the whole time! I felt like the characters were super complex and in any murder mystery there was a great protagonist. This book gave me vibes of forbidden love and murder. But finding out it was her lover crushed me a bit because I shipped them. Perfect book couple! I'm sure this book will be a hit once it hits the shelves in May! It pains me I'm done with this book but I have others to read so I am excited.
