I was hooked on this book from the start, mostly because I could not help feeling for Jade and her plight. Bad enough to be dumped by someone you thought could be "the one", but your best friend being the reason? You lose two important people at once! Anyway, I felt for her a lot.

The story starts out pretty intensely, as you KNOW something bad has gone down on this boat. So right from the start I was pretty much hooked. Also, I am a HUGE travel fan, so when Jade hops on a boat for Semester at Sea (Road Rules callback, anyone?) I was even more excited. Add to it, it was quite refreshing to see some full fledged college students being written about! I LOVE reading college-age stories, and they seem so few and far between, especially in genres other than straight up contemporary. I also was absolutely hooked by some of the people Jade meets along the way!

Obviously, I cannot say *too* much about this book, since it is a mystery and all, but suffice it to say, I was definitely entertained and intrigued throughout!
