The opening chapter sucks you in to your chest and you are left grasping for more. The murder sounds gruesome and the details to the amount of blood helps to build the picture. The main character is very nonchalant about the murder, however, reports she didn’t commit the murder.

The plot of young college kids going ina. Cruise to different countries and being trapped in a boat together with some people they despise is a perfect “whodunit” premise. I love a good mystery with fingers all pointing at one another and twists and turns to make me second guess myself.

I also enjoyed how the story went back in time to when the main character first met and fell in love as it draws out our own human emotions and sympathy for the duration at hand. Everyone has had a broken heart and has had to grow through the emotions and struggles.

The story resonates with me for all of the above reasons but also and mostly for the MYSTERY!
