Murder at Sea
Where to start! The cover with the bloody hand in the port hole, bold and creative. I had seen books of the author's before and had a chance to read These Deadly Games and loved it. This Young Adult one came along and I was fortunate to get a copy. A group of college age kids spending a semester at sea (Campus on Board) that board the ship with a lot of "baggage" and betrayals. Murder was bound to happen. The book opens with a murder scene at one of the ship's cabins, then we move backward as the characters are introduced.
Love triangles occur. Fast pacing and a mystery that piques your interest from the beginning. I was so jealous of this group. I wish I had had a chance to spend a summer semester touring the Mediterranean. The story was very suspenseful and moved along. I was engaged from the first page. Great whodunnit. This was a quick and easy read. We need another adventure.
