This murder mystery was a whirlwind read that flew by for me. Everyone and I mean everyone had a motive for killing Lainey, whether it be revenge for her father's company's illegal business practices or a personal vendetta against her. So many red herrings continued to pile up to keep me guessing who was the killer.

I enjoyed the unexpected twists, dead ends, backtracking; the mystery setup was amazing (pun intended) because just as I thought I knew who did the crime, the newest circumstances placed doubts in my head.

The romance part was iffy for me and I really didn't understand or feel the instant connection or "love" between two of the major characters. The friendships felt more realistic because of the newness of them and lack of history.

The setting was wonderful and I enjoyed getting peeks of Europe as well as life on a cruise ship. Readers who enjoy mysteries and intense plots will enjoy this novel at sea.
