I was so excited to read an ARC of this book via Netgalley. I ended up being rather disappointed.

The setting and synopsis really caught my eye - I'm a sucker for a thriller set on a cruise ship (hello, I see you Woman in Cabin 10), and this YA twist on a semester at sea gone wrong seemed right up my alley. I wanted to preview this one before promoting it in my high school library.

Overall, I was really disappointed. The main character annoyed me, and I got pretty bored at certain points. I know you have to suspend some belief to enjoy these types of thrillers, but this one really felt unrealistic. To be honest, I should have stopped reading, but I really thought things would improve or perhaps a big twist would come. I really didn't, and it just maintained a pretty boring plot line.

There is way too much drama (that part is on course for high schoolers), but even that got on my nerves.

Definitely not my favorite by this author.
