The prologue sets the scene for a violent, bloody murder. But how does Jade end up in the middle of this (literal) mess? I love locked room mysteries, and being stuck on a cruise ship with your ex-boyfriend and ex-best friend feels like the perfect setting.
I liked that after seeing the bloody room, the narrative backs up three weeks to when Jade first arrived on the ship. I like her as a character, but can’t help but wonder - is she a reliable narrator?
Looking forward to reading the rest of this mystery - this “first look” flew by, I know this is going to be a fun page turner!
