It's a really fun and interesting premise, but something about the first few pages just felt really forced to me. It didn't sound like a teen was actually speaking, and I couldn't suspend my disbelief. I'm not one for murder mysteries typically anyways, but this one really wasn't doing anything special to pull me in.
I think this book will appeal to a younger YA demographic that's interested in mysteries/thrillers.
The cover art isn't doing anything for me. It captures what the story will be about, but it just feels kinda generic to me. The font also just isn't my cup of tea.
