Honestly, the prologue hooked me in. The whole idea of starting in the middle after the "event" and then working your way towards it and after it, is a good strategy to hook in readers. I'm very interested to see how things progress up to the point of the prologue and then to see how things will get resolved afterwards. The first look sets the stage in introducing many, if not all, of the people I assume will be the suspects. Right away, I'm a little surprised that the characters are in college. The dialogue makes me think that they're in high school. It comes through especially with Jade considering she's our narrator. If I had to read another snippet of how her and her ex-boyfriend "didn't do much talking when they were alone" (wink, wink - know what I mean?), then I would not be continuing this book. I can only hope that the rest of the book does not continue in that way.
