This book's cover grabbed my attention, and as soon as I learned that the action revolved around a semester of school at sea, it became a must read. I know people like this book's narrator - they spent an educational year at sea; however, UN-like the narrator, they were not plotting murder against a former best friend who stole their boyfriend. The characters seem well developed n this book with believable emotions. This author wasted no time in setting the story in motion, and the fast pace keeps the reader's attention. The various ports of call make it all the more fun. I can envision this becoming a series on a streaming service !
