The prologue definitely has me interested in where things are going to go and who the killer is. I don't know if it's necessarily needed there, though. It almost feels like a spoiler of what's to come. Maybe if it didn't flat out say who it was that died, it would draw in more attention. Regardless though, I'm excited to see how it plays out.
