Wow that opening was dark and gory, exactly how a thriller should open up. I'm so curious if Lainey is actually blackmailing Silas somehow, but she is being made out to be a character that you want to hate and doesn't mind being the victim. The new friends that Jade makes are cool, but I'm afraid to get too attached in case this is like And Then There Were None.
