The copy of the book that I received smells like rotten eggs so I read it quickly but even without the smell...the book wasn't that great. It is just weird how she has an imaginary friend in Cupid also just that I didn't fully understand Luna New Year so some of the more cultural images scared me because the dragon is kinda creepy. All in all just not my favorite book because of the plot and imagery but also just the smell was putrid on my nose. The art is really pretty though just because I'm not of the culture I didn't understand what was going on and just in general some of the drawings and images were creepy. The romance plot was adorable even if it felt a little immature in this book but then again it is a young adult novel so take that into account. I think that if it is for an 11–14-year-old they would love this book just not me and my 18-year-old high schooler self.
