This is a lovely and fun YA graphic novel with a mix of great components, supernatural elements, imaginary friends, family (and family drama), cute romance, funny scenes, and cultural topics, plus, the art style is gorgeous.

Valentina loved Valentine's Day until she learned that her parents don't have the love story she believed, not she is a teen and she is not a romantic anymore, she is a little cynical, she likes to observe dysfunctional romances and make and make comments and assumptions.

The story has a little magic but feels realistic. The family dynamic is relatable and likeable, they are quirky, fun, and a little dramatic. It is a realistic story about friendship, family, and romance (the romance was so sweet).

It's a short, fast-paced heartwarming story, and is so funny, with lovely art, perfect for middle-grade children
