This graphic novel was super cute! I loved the dialogue and illustrations as they were vivid and easy to read. It does have some slow parts and there are sections where there is an inordinate amount of text, but overall, I enjoyed reading this and getting wrapped up in the story. It also has a good explanation of the Lunar New Year traditions and customs, which is great for readers familiar with that holiday, and those brand new to it. I waited to read this book until my local library had it, but it would make a great gift for family and friends, even if they don't normally read graphic novels. This is definitely a diverse rom-com you will not want to miss. I am looking forward to seeing other novels and graphic novels this author writes in the future. The cover is eye catching as well and so are illustrations so it will definitely appeal to readers.
