I love both Gene Luen Yang and LeUyen Pham's works; American Born Chinese and Pham's Real Friends series are such excellent graphic novels. So exciting that they're collaborating for this, which so far is an interesting story with some family drama, fantasy, and mystery, with the promise of romance. Valentina became disillusioned with Valentine's Day and romance, but I can see that that'll change once she meets the right person...
