I've never read a Graphic Novel but now I'm invested

Talk about a cliffhanger! I am super invested in what happens to Valentina and her Dad. I don't know what happened but I NEED TO KNOW! I've never read a graphic novel, I've bought plenty as gifts but never read any myself. I want to read this one.
