I claimed a copy of this lovely book via BookishFirst! ^^

[disclaimer: I am NO minimalist. I love the concept and am working towards letting go of what no longer serves me :)]

This is a really great guide to minimalism for both beginners and those whom are more advanced.

The cover: sweet and to the point [some might call it "minimalistic" - see what I did there? :)]

The book overall: I really liked how the chapters were divided into aspects/concepts of minimalism. Some people believe in the "stuff" part of minimalism... As in, "get rid of what you don't need or use" and "less is more"... But this book goes a bit deeper into the several aspects of our lives where we can apply its principles. Each chapter goes into a different aspect, such as relationships, the digital space, and more. It's not just about getting rid of excess - it is about clearing what no longer serves in our lives. That may include the 11 spoons in the kitchen drawer, the 30+ apps on our smartphones we rarely use, or anything that may be overwhelming us and keeping us from living our best lives.

Overall: If you are looking for a nice read on how to better apply minimalism into your daily life, definitely pick this one up!
