I think the thing that struck me most about the book is how much I want to share it with others. The way people process the world around them can cause them so much pain and also cause others pain that I wanted to share this book with them. I think we all need to shift our perspectives and figure out how to both be good for ourselves and for others in real and tangible ways. Can people change? Do we have the right outlook for our lives? I think so often we ignore these questions and instead pursue pleasure and using others only to find ourselves in more pain and heartbreak. Instead of creating a cycle of pain for ourselves and those around us, we need to learn how to break the cycle, find healing, and hope. This book provides excellent information in how to do just that. I think this is a go to book for a variety of reasons and look forward to rereading it in the future!
