I absolutely loved this book. The Minimalists share their backgrounds and how focusing on people is more rewarding than focusing on stuff. They stress the opposite of loving people and using things never works, a motto of their blog, podcast, and presentations.

It is interesting how the minimalism concepts can enrich relationships and the lives we lead. This is a book you will savor and want to pass on to friends and family. The book is approachable, honest, and inspiring. It lacks the sappiness so common in the self-help genre, which is refreshing.

The book includes a number of personal stories and photos of the authors. The authors are honest about struggles and failures in their life, and how they found light and positivity in the future.

The book is surprisingly long at 300+ pages, which seems lengthy for proponents of minimalism. (Sorry couldn't help myself with that joke.)
