So, I think the idea behind this is great and the writing is alluring enough, but I’ll admit I’m scared to read it. I’m a long way from minimalism and I’m scared to give up the accumulation of goods. But, I can see how that leads to less stress and more happiness. I don’t think I love people less, as the title seems to imply, but I, like so much of our society, am drowning in the appeal of consumerism. I know this is an important book and one I should read. I just don’t know if I’m ready!
