It's not hard to see how we as a society have become materialistic and obsessed with having the latest gadgets or coolest clothes. Retailers and social media have made it too easy for everyone to get their hands on the next best thing or latest fad. While the minimalist idea sounds like the answer in theory, I think we're too dependent on consumerism to turn a corner. I'm curious to learn about the authors ideas and how they propose people will embrace the minimalist ways.
