Perhaps the self help genre is not for me. The minimalist lifestyle is not for me. Consumerism is not the devil, and not everyone is going to be able to go out and work in a field that fulfils their soul. There are measures of freedom that are tracked by international organizations, contrary to whatever the authors says or wants to correlate the term freedom with the failed American dream.
