I was expecting to read an introduction about what minimalism is about; instead, I enjoyed how the author started with the story of a couple, relating right away to most of us in search of the perfect, successful life. I like how it referred not just to stuff, but to junk food, the internet, television, and relationships. From the beginning, the author makes a connection to the reader through issues that most of us see as a normal part of life. I haven’t read the book yet, and I have already been prompted to look at my own life. This book seems to be one that has the potential to really change people’s lives.
