I just can't make it through a book like this

I really like to read case studies, but I haaaaaaaaaate the stuff in between. This book would probably really be worth the read. Just can't get through the mumbo jumbo in between. My takeaway from the first chapter is the 3 categories -- essential, nonessential, and junk -- and that about sums it up for me.
