The irony of The Minimalists (TM) is that they've built a business out of selling you their "minimal" idea as a cure-all for unhappiness. I've seen people just use current anxieties and carry it over into the "minimalist lifestyle", still obsessed over buying but wanting to buy the "one perfect thing" - it's a very classist idea and is not the same as wanting to live simply, in my opinion. If it gets you to truly question your consumerism, then cool. But I don't think you need to *buy* a book to learn how to not buy things.
