I have had this book on my TO BE READ list for way to long. And I am so happy that I finally sat down and read it. I loved the writing in this story and the characters. I liked the point of view of this story. It’s from Will- and how he heard someone. It’s a nice change from the girl returning to the home town.
This story follows will and Nora. Who met as kids- even though will did not see her face. Now he is back in his hometown, and his ears are open to finding the voice he heard all those years ago.
This story is sort of frenemies/ enemies to lovers. So the tension is palpable and you find yourself yelling ( to yourself…) come on just kiss already!
But this story has a sweet and satisfying ending which made it truly enjoyable to read. I regret not picking this up soon. Although I am thrilled that I finally did! A wonderful beach read, or a book for a rainy day.
