Ok, so I love Kate Clayborn and the way she writes. She has such a way of putting harsh truths into her stories without reading terribly, and this book was no different. I loved it so much.

This book made me laugh and cry and have all of the emotions. Both the leads were dealing with life and trauma and overcoming grief in such a real way and it was refreshing to read.

The plot is fairly innocuous: the male lead inherited an appartment from a distant family member. The female lead is sabotaging his chances of selling. This plot feels like a recipient for failure but instead was a cute romp where the characters figure out about each other and about life as they go.

I read this book fairly quickly and honestly don’t think I will retain the plot, but I really enjoyed the ride. It was a great mix of heartwarming, hilarity, and just the right amount of emotions. I would so reccomend this read.
