So the actually story was really good and I loved the idea that everyone in the building was family. My only problem with the book was that the writing style was a little hard for me to read. I don’t know if it was because the sentences were shorter or they just didn’t flow as well, but that was my only problem and that could’ve just been me. I really liked the overall plot and story especially the parts where Nora tried to sabotage Will’s efforts to remodel.
The characters to me were the best part of the story, and not only Will and Nora. I loved all the neighbors that lived in the apartment, especially grumpy Jonah and Mrs. Salas. The way the characters all acted like family was really cute and made the story a lot better. I also loved Sally and Dr. Abraham; both of their characters were Sioux unique and their little side romance/reconciliation was hilarious. Deepa, Nora’s bff, was also a really funny and interesting side character. Overall the book was really cute and fun to read.
