Love at First is the story of Will Sterling and Nora Clarke whose lives intersect because of a Chicago apartment building. Will inherits his uncle's apartment and wants nothing more to sell it and move on, but there is a clause saying he has to keep it for a year. He plans to renovate it and list it as a short term rental. Nora lives in her grandmother's apartment which she inherited after her grandmother's recent death. The building houses a colorful cast of elderly characters who, led by Nora, resist Will's efforts to rent out his apartment. The feud escalates as Nora and the apartment residents get to know Will.
